Charming Cotswold Villages & Historic Towns

The Cotswolds is home to many hidden gems, with charming villages offering historic churches, traditional pubs and delightful restaurants. Just a short drive away, Broadway, known as the ‘Jewel of the Cotswolds.’ Broadway boasts a stunning High Street filled with independent shops, cafés and galleries. Similarly, Chipping Campden, only five minutes from the park, is a must-visit town, with its famous Market Hall and specialist stores. For history lovers, nearby Evesham and Stratford-upon-Avon offer a rich medieval past, scenic riverside walks and beautifully preserved half-timbered buildings. What’s more, Stratford-upon-Avon is home to the world-famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre, making it the perfect place to discover all things ‘Shakespeare’.

For those looking for family-friendly activities, there are plenty of attractions nearby. The famous Warwick Castle, National Trust properties and stunning gardens provide fascinating days out. Meanwhile, animal lovers can enjoy local farm parks and the butterfly farm, or visit ‘The Valley’ for a fun-filled family day out, with a shopping complex, crazy golf and aerial adventures. For outdoor enthusiasts, the area also offers scenic walking trails, including the Cotswold Way and Wychavon Way, showcasing breathtaking views, peaceful woodlands and rolling countryside. Finally, a visit to Broadway Tower is a must, offering spectacular views across 13 counties from its hilltop location.

Thing To Do On Our Doorstep

Honeybourne is a thriving village with plenty to offer. For example, sample a local ale or enjoy a hearty meal at one of two local pubs, grab a takeaway from one of three options, or treat yourself at Sliced Bakery or The Jungle Café, just a stone’s throw from our entrance. In addition, you can stock up on essentials at two convenience stores, all within a 5–15 minute walk.

Just a short stroll away, All Things Wild is a fantastic year-round family attraction, with animals, dinosaurs, soft play and much more to discover. With plenty of indoor and outdoor activities, it’s a great place to keep all ages entertained, whatever the weather.

For a more relaxing experience, family-owned Honeybourne Pottery is just a 15-minute walk away. Set within a beautiful countryside studio, it’s a calm and creative space perfect for budding potters.

Finally, Honeybourne Train Station is part of the Hereford to London Paddington line, making it easy to visit nearby villages, towns and cities without needing to use your car.

The cottage was stunning, spacious and contained everything you would need for a self catering holiday. The site itself was well maintained, clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool, football field and park. Location was ideal with lots of places to visit within a 5- 30 minute drive. We will definitely be coming back again.
